We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at St Peter's Church, Walton on the Hill at 8 p.m.
Report on meetings 2019
We raised funds for the MU Mothering Sunday Appeal in March (£100) and the Summer of Hope Appeal (£200) in August
January 2019: we packed emergency hospital bags for Epsom Hospital
February 2019: we met with our neighbouring branch who are in the Southwark Diocese for a meeting on the World Day of Prayer and have plans to meet again next year
March 2019: we watched and discussed the DVD ‘Mary Magdalene’
April 2019: an open meeting to include members’ children and grandchildren - an Easter craft and games afternoon
August 2019: we held our Summer of Hope Fun and fundraising afternoon (photos sent separately by email)
September 2019: our vicar came and spoke to the meeting
Forthcoming meeting/events:
October 2019: we are having lunch at 'The Clink Restaurant' HMP High Down to mark MU becoming an official partner in Prisons Week. We have also planned a theatre trip with some members to see Jesus Christ Superstar.
November 2019: Sue Adilz (a member of the church congregation) will speak on Pilgrimages
December 2019: an Advent Meditation led by Sharon Seal
