Great Bookham St Nicholas

News of recent branch meetings:

April: a Lent Lunch, with seasonal reflections from guest speaker,

Elizabeth Cotton

May: Jacky Atkins led a session on ‘How to discover our talents’ and

Jean Hoseason presented ‘How much we know about MU’.

This was mainly for several potential new members, but everyone learnt

something new about MU.

August: Our annual garden party with a bring-and-buy for MU charities was

very successful.

Forthcoming events

In October (Saturday 19th from 10-12 in St Nicolas Church room) we are holding a coffee morning

and tabletop sale for funds for MU charities.  There will be a cake stall, bric-a-brac and MU Christmas card stall.

The following day, during our 10.00 am service on Sunday 20th we are having an enrolment of

6 new members

Dates of our meetings at St Nicolas Church in Great Bookham are the second Thursday afternoon of the month at

2.15pm and we also have some evening meetings during the lighter evenings, the last of which will be on

Wednesday 2nd October at 7.45pm when we plan to make items with a Harvest Theme.
