‘Darker Days lead to Lighter Hope’ led by Sharon Seal

Sharon Seal is a spiritual director and offers ways for us to grow our spiritual lives, especially using the disciplines of retreating, silence, pilgrimage and contemplation.

Do you ever feel discouraged when you watch the news or when you hear of a friend going through a hard time? We live in a world that sometimes feels very dark and depressing.

As the autumn days become shorter, we will contemplate on how we cope with the changing seasons, not only in creation but also in our lives. What is our lighter hope and how will we keep faithful to it as we inhabit time? I shall delve deeper into how we inhabit time and what we have collected in our lives that both enriches and sometimes hinders us.

Coffee will be served from 10am for a 10.30 start. We will aim to depart from 2.30pm

There are two disabled spaces on the bottom level and the lift is there to be used. There are 5 parking spaces on the upper level and a short walk up the drive. Anyone can be dropped though, at the top of the drive, right by the top entrance where the prayer room is. Please pay by bank transfer MU Guildford 30-93-74 acc.no. 68855468 ref.
